We are thrilled to announce that the award-winning poet, playwright, singer-songwriter Gerda Stevenson will deliver the 2018 Thomas Muir Memorial Lecture. Music will be provided by Ewen Maclean and Phil Alexander, of well known duo Alexander and Maclean, who are composing their own music for the event and teaming up with acclaimed Scottish singer Fiona Hunter.

Fringe By The Sea Pop-Up Bookshop!

As if we didn’t have enough going on in August, our bookshops are teaming up again to run a ten-day bookstall and signing tent at North Berwick’s Fringe by the Sea festival! This seaside book, music and film festival has been going since 2009 and we’re delighted to be pulling our resources and bookselling know-how to bring a pop-up indie to the beach.
